Would you like to know more about Centering Prayer?  Have you tried Centering Prayer in the past and would like a “Refresher” on the method?

At Introduction to Centering Prayer, we will present the method of Centering Prayer, which helps us to approach prayer as based on this Wisdom Saying of Jesus: 
 

“When you pray, go to your inner room, close the door and pray to your Father in secret…” (Matt 6: 6).

The basic method of Centering Prayer will be presented, along with a few simple guidelines of how to “be still” and consent to “know” God’s presence and action within as we pray.  This is a great opportunity to refresh your practice, begin anew, or learn about Centering Prayer for the first time.

Introduction to Centering Prayer will be presented by Katy Kram and Tom Davis, Contemplative Outreach Commissioned Presenters
